This page is the brainchild of Boyd Shook (see Curriculum Vitae) and represents a dream of several people each of whom have become concerned about people who are less fortunate. The idea has led to forming a non-profit organization to facilitate these dreams. Donations to Manos Juntas are fully deductible and deeply appreciated. Each page represents a different aspect of the Manos Juntas Foundation. The   mission trips described here are written by Boyd Shook and represent brigades to Nicaragua in recent years. There are other trips which are more of a building and construction nature, but because of my (Boyd Shook) life in Medicine, the medical brigades were the first to be described. There will be more added as the muse allows. The organization of Manos Juntas is described including the articles of incorporation, organization, scholarship rules and awardees, and our current list of donors. There are selected pictures of a recent mission. More photos will be added.

If you would like to assist in this effort, a tax deductible donation may be made to Manos Juntas.  The donation may be directed to a specific objective or to general funding for all of Manos Juntas objectives.  All administrative costs are being covered so 100% of your donation will go to the needy. You will receive a letter of verification to present for tax purposes.
